A Note From Owner Thomas T Wittman, Jr

The Wittman family name has been active in the contracting business since 1940. My great-grandfather and his two sons started J. Wittman & Sons Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. Decades of effort and integrity resulted in the compilation of one of the largest HVAC contracting businesses ever established.

My father and his brothers took the reigns of the company in 1970. I started working for the family business in 1982.

In its heyday, the company boasted four locations with over 300 employees. The New Jersey holdings of J. Wittman and Sons, Inc were sold to the Conectiv Utility company in the 1990s. Wittman Mechanical in Sterling, Virginia, continues to serve its clients in that area.

Wittman Construction Co is proud to continue its deep-rooted family tradition of customer service and integrity as a full-service commercial general contractor in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Delaware region.
